Everyone who works on organising the people's proud picnic does so by donating their time and energy for free for our common goals, however, the council won't let us run without insurance, and insurance that covers our gathering outside with a speaker and mic costs us £235, if you can comfortably chip in to help us cover this cost without it causing you any stress we would greatly appreciate the support in keeping this event free for everyone, if we can't keep it free it's nolonger an event we want to run. If we end up with more than that amount it will be kept to go towards next year's proud picnic insurance cover 💕
